By Monday evening, my hip, entire leg, and foot were numb (like that feeling when you sleep on your hand and it's 'asleep'). No stretches helped, no position made it better. It was different than the tingling and pain I used to have in my foot. Usually, icing it and laying down helps a lot. Not this time - nothing helped.
I had a PT appointment yesterday morning. He massaged my leg with a giant rolling pin and all of his weight and then poked spots in my hip until I expressed pain, which apparently didn't take much pressure at all. He said I overdid it once I started feeling better - but I really didn't do much at all - I walked some but only a mile at a time, and I cleaned my house but stopped when it bothered me.
Frustrating as it is, I still have hope that my body will be back to normal soon and our lives will get easier. I wish it were now, but we don't always get what we wish for. I need a little bit of easy.
So I put my writing on hold last weekend and hope to resume tomorrow night. I am so happy I jotted down the notes for each of the chapters - otherwise I would be feeling hopeless right now. Instead I just feel like I'm on pause again. Maybe tomorrow I'll make some progress.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday and my new followers. I absolutely enjoyed reading everyone's posts.
